"Meet MSU"

Women's Resource Center is sponsoring "Meet MSU in May" from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. May 25 and 31. Meet at the brown bear in the MSU Museum lobby May 25 to tour the museum. A gallery walk through current exhibits will be held May 31 at Kresge Art Museum. For reservations, call 353-1635.

Yoga classes

Healthy U is sponsoring "Yoga Movements and Relaxation" classes from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Thursdays June 1-29. Classes will meet in the Purdue Room, MSU Union. To register, call 353-2596.

Retirement reception

Lowell Spotts is retiring from Grounds Maintenance after 25 years of service. A reception in his honor will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 31 at the International Center. Call 355-7750.

Kids Camp

Spartan Village Elementary School is offering a Kids Camp running June 13 through Aug. 25. The camp will offer children ages 5-12 a wide range of summer activities, outdoor exploration, free play, field trips, special events and weekly swimming. Stretching classes

Healthy U is sponsoring "Limber Up at Stretching Class" from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Wednesdays May 24-June 14 in the Purdue Room, MSU Union. To register, call 353-2596.

Fire pump testing

Fire pump testing will be done from May 22 to 28 in the following buildings: Anthony Hall, Breslin Student Events Center, Business College Complex, Communication Arts and Sciences Building, Engineering Building, Food Safety and Toxicology Building, Hubbard Hall, Human Ecology Building, Kellogg Center, Law College Building, Life Sciences Building, Mason-Abbot Hall, North Kedzie Hall, Plant Biology Building, Plant and Soil Sciences Building, Simon Power Plant, MSU Union, Veterinary Medical Center and Wharton Center. Some discoloration of water may occur, but the water will still be safe for consumption.

Food Stores inventory

Food Stores will be closed May 24-26 for inventory. Delivery of products will be made on these days, but orders must be received and processed before 4 p.m. May 23. Food Stores will reopen by noon May 26. All orders picked up that afternoon will be billed as June business.

CFCR series

Child and Family Care Resources is sponsoring a four-week series entitled "Sex, Drugs, Alcohol: How to Talk to Your Teens and Pre-teens" from noon to 1 p.m. June 1, 8, 15 and 22 in 125 Nisbet Building. The workshop will help parents, grandparents and guardians enhance their role in their children's health and sexuality education. To register, call 432-3745, Ext. 146, or e-mail strom@hr.msu.edu

WKAR record sale

WKAR Radio is holding its 18th annual used and new record sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 20 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 21 at the corner of Albert Street and Abbott Road next to the Evergreen Grill, East Lansing.

Tennis lessons

Healthy U is sponsoring beginning tennis lessons from 6 to 7 p.m. and advanced beginning tennis lessons from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays May 24-June 28 at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. Cost is $24. To register, call 353-2596.
