Ten graduating seniors were honored for their academic achievement by the MSU Board of Trustees April 20.

The students, who each achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average, were:

  • Brian F. Basch, an electrical engineering major in the College of Engineering and a graduate of Traverse City High School.
  • Nathanael S. Brady, a physiology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of Thornapple Kellogg Schools.
  • Sheela M. Doshi, a zoology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of Lakota High School.
  • Todd A. Gormley, an economics major in The Eli Broad College of Business and a graduate of North Branch High School.
  • Anna K. Johnson, a chemical engineering major in the College of Engineering and a graduate of St. Clair High School.
  • Brian H. Ngo, a chemical engineering major in the College of Engineering and a graduate of Holt High School.
  • Eric J. Peters, a microbiology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
  • Troy K. Takagishi, a physiology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of East Lansing High School.
  • Prashant Vaishnava, a Lyman Briggs School-physiology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of Grand Blanc High School.
  • Elizabeth A. VanWormer, a zoology major in the College of Natural Science and a graduate of Hillsdale High School.
