The Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP), an education outreach arm of the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research at MSU, has added two new leaders.

Colleen Pero, an independent legal consultant and political adviser, is a new MPLP co-director, and Pat Laughlin, Governmental Consul-tant Services Inc. managing partner and veteran association executive, is the new MPLP Advisory Board chairperson.

Pero, who is currently vice chairperson of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, joins Lynn Jondahl as MPLP co-director.

Laughlin will officially begin his two-year term as chairperson at the MPLP Advisory Board's spring meeting. He was nominated as chairperson-elect in 1999.
