Bicycle impoundment
The Department of Police and Public Safety will run its annual bike clean-up
from May 5 to July 31. Bikes not registered with the department will be
impounded even if they are attached to a bicycle rack. Impoundment will
include bikes that are in disrepair or attached to meters, signs or railings.
Any registered bike in proper repair attached to a bicycle rack will not
